Having been summoned by God at an early age to help others, and successfully overcoming her own struggles with addiction and eating disorders, Kim offers not just academic knowledge, but experience as well. In efforts to share her success with others, Kim earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and continued on to pursue her graduate degree from Sam Houston State University in Community Counseling.
She has currently partnered with Lois Thomson-Bowersock and associates to complete her internship for her Professional Counseling license and plans to continue private practice when she is licensed.
Kim brings a wealth of knowledge from her experience in teaching high risk students at the elementary level for 6 years, working with a Christian teen outreach program called YoungLife, leading various adult recovery groups through out the community for 5 years, and sponsoring addicts through the 12 steps of recovery.
She is married and enjoys spending much of her time reading, loving on her two dogs, and grabbing coffee with friends.
