Lois Thomson-Bowersock is one of Texas' foremost counselors specializing in helping families and individuals affected by addiction. She has a private practice in The Woodlands, Texas, a suburb of greater Houston. Lois provides family and aftercare support for La Hacienda Treatment Center.

Drawing on more than 20 years of personal and professional experience, Lois offers her clients insightful, creative, innovative and compassionate guidance. Recognized by the prestigious Manchester Who’s Who Registry of National & International Counselors, she is also a published author and former radio talk-show host. Lois is widely known in Texas, the Southwest and across America for her dynamic, educational and captivating conferences and keynote presentations.

Lois has traveled to 30 countries and has attended schools in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and Mexico.  She speaks English, French and is currently studying Spanish.

Lois and her husband, Bruce, have been married for 37 years and they have two grown children and five grandchildren.
